comments: Your ability to paint a picture with your words is amazing and your ability to be vulnerable while so matter of fact is... you. So glad I wondered. All the best (very Canadian, but meant wholeheartedly) - August 31, 2012, 1:43 pm

comments: I am so happy to see that you are back to where you should be, or in the way to get there. I am so proud and thankful for having been able to meet you, know you, for being able to call myself your friend, but mostly, because I learned so many things from you, not really English, you never were my English teacher, you were my life teacher and inspiration. Keep on doing what you must, sharing your artistry with the world. - March 28, 2012, 12:37 pm

comments: Hey girl. I used to work at Cybervoice back in 1995. I worked in the office by that time ordering the coffee and creamer for the talkers. There sure were some interesting folk working there. Nice website. - February 1, 2012, 3:54 pm

comments: "A very pretty, silly, intelligent, wise girl that's always there to help ANYONE! Nadya's tend to have super sexy hair and legs They are really into rock music, and tend to dress uniquely: like combination of a boho hipster. They don't really listen to mainstream music and are really aware of the environment! Nadya's don't get butt hurt at all but there are some things that she does not tolerate, like bull shit. They are fun to mess around with and be with. Even though they are very down to earth and open minded, they don't really care what other people think about them. Everyone secretly loves her whether they show it or not." - January 3, 2012, 8:59 pm

comments: Oops! I didn´t mean to send that previous comment ( March 5, 2010, 2:13 pm) anonimously. Must have pressed the wrong key. Also the Orwell quotes within the text should have been in italics. Oh well. You know which ones are his words. I accept my clumsiness. To quote him again "Happiness can exist only in acceptance". Great job, Nadia. - March 5, 2010, 2:19 pm

comments: WAYS IN WHICH NADIA REMINDS ME OF GEORGE ORWELL. Mr. O’s words in italics. Good writing is like a windowpane. This is particularly obvious and aporpiate when one opnes an internet window and enters this site. Excellent writing, I should say, stating the obvious. But then again sometimes the first duty of intelligent men is the restatement of the obvious. While I read your words I am reminded that the best books... are those that tell you what you know already: that life is an adventure, that words are a marvelous playground, and that if one really has something to say , somebody will naturally want to listen. If there is anything that defines this blog is sincerity. That is why there is a method to the madness here: the great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns, as it were, instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish squirting out ink. And last but not least, the all-human beating heart your words show. We know many people genuinely do not want to be saints, and it is probable that some who achieve or aspire to sainthood have never felt much temptation to be human beings. You have clearly fallen into the temptation of being a realperson. Thank you. Your blog is a great place for a mind to to go running the way barefoot children run on fields of wet grass. - March 5, 2010, 2:13 pm

comments: I've somehow stumbled upon your site and its a little gem. I'll be reading as much as I can - boy do I know how to procrastinate when I'm supposed to be studying. How did I end up on here? Was it the references to queer Davie St (next time I'm there, I'll try to take a break for ogling the biceps and give a quick up and down look to a beautiful woman). Is it the references to Doukhobors - I've been grappling with the spirit all my life and have always been a piece of grass pushing against the prevailing wind. Or is it the desire to wander but always held back by practicalities. Anyways, I will keep reading on - nice to see thoughts I can relate to at times. - September 2, 2008, 1:41 pm

comments: Where are my lists? WHERE ARE THEY!?!And I'd like to know what neanderthal mongoloid is saying you can do better? On what basis or comparison or subject do they figure may be "better"? Keep doing exactly what you're doing. Being able to write well has absolutely nothing to do with the topic you provide. - November 9, 2006, 2:43 pm

comments: This sight is majorly thought provoking And it's author is thinking on a level that exercises my brain. It is refreshing considering all the mind numbing conversationalists out there fixated on the social sphere. Here is a person who fractures the norm and attempts to show me that I am alive. - November 7, 2006, 5:56 pm

comments: Girlfriend, your piece on teaching ESL was priceless. I was crying with laughter and slapping my knees, shouting "That's SO true!" , much to the alarm of my significant other. Any critics of yours are pompous arsepicks. You have followed in the grand Canadian spirit of writing about what you know, rather than writing about what you think will impress other people. I would rather read your writing than milton's or chaucer's any day. Crusty old Europeans have nothing on modern social analysts like yourself. Rock on sister! - November 3, 2006, 7:54 pm

comments: I laughed...a lot. I even told a few friends to check it out. More lists, I love the lists! And I laughed my ass off about "With or Without You" by U2, every line I went, "IIII KNOW!" cuz I do, cuz I hate them so much, but just this year, for obvious reasons, I finally GOT that overplayed damn song I've heard but never listened to. Keep 'em coming. - October 11, 2006, 4:30 pm

comments: Well, N-Dawg, this site does (at least) two things exceptionally well. It charms us readers and makes us think good things about you, which any internet face should (and it does it with more food-for-thought than a myspace profile); and as a treat for us ourselves, it leaves us abuzz--get away from the computer! live hard until the sun runs out. hope is a moral necessity because despair is a self-fulfilling proposition--but the unexamined life is not worth living, nevertheless. blah blah blah. no lesions for MArtin! rad. - September 28, 2006, 9:38 pm
